Why Americans are afraid to take a vacation
Workers are worried about being viewed as less-than-dedicated to their jobs, and as a result are not using up to 70 percent of their annual vacation time.See also:

Also: Why we’re afraid not to work on holidays instead of being with our families, why we will work obscene amounts of overtime, why we don’t complain when we don’t get a raise we deserve, why we put up with bullshit for an unfair supervisor, and a number of other bullshitary we put up with now days that we wouldn’t have 15 years ago.
